These terms and conditions govern engagements between all Participants of the Chicken Republic Website and Food Concepts Plc, (the owner(s) of this Website) and the use of Chicken Republic social media platforms (where applicable) and third-party Social Media platforms and third-party applications and Chicken Republic customers who make physical appearance in our designated stores during the pendency of the Chicken Republic Freepublic Buy One Get One Free Tuesdays named BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer.

1. Definitions and interpretations

1.1 Throughout this terms and conditions, the following words will have the following meanings set against them:

“BOGOF” means Buy One Get One Free

“Offer” including display, classified, inserts, directories, banners, mini-sites, button Advertisements and any other announcement designed to publicly promote activities including Offers and Programmes which speak to Chicken Republic BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer which holds precisely as follows:

§ BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer – available every Tuesday for 12 weeks. That is, every Tuesday from July 11 all through September 26, 2023.

“Participants” Any and all persons who engage with any form of Chicken Republic BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer and communication to enjoy Chicken Republic BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer.

“Territory” The Territory of the offer operation shall be in Nigeria.

“Third-party app” Any third-party food delivery application linked to Chicken Republic’s official website.

1. Participants are to visit any of the participating Chicken Republic stores to purchase the BOGOF Rice and Beans meal offer on Tuesdays within the stipulated offer period from July 11 till September 26, 2023.

Primary Offer:

• Buy one Rice & Beans meal and get one free.

One rice and beans meal gives rice & beans, plus Sauce plus 1 piece of chicken for N1,350.

With our BOGOF offer, you will get 2 rice & beans, plus 2 sauce plus 2 pieces of chicken plus 2 PET drinks for N1,350.

Secondary offer:

• Get N100 discount on Jumbo Coleslaw when you add it to your BOGOF purchase. The discount only applies to one jumbo coleslaw per Rice & Beans meal purchased.

5. OFFER REGULATIONS

Chicken Republic BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer regulations:

– Chicken Republic BOGOF Rice & Beans meal offer is a Buy One Get One free discount meal available every Tuesday from July 11 till 26 September 2023

– The offer is available to customers who visit Chicken Republic stores directly to make a purchase.

– It is not available for customers who purchase via online channels.

– This offer is only available in select stores

6. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1By participating in this offer and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you represent and warrant that you are at least 3 years to 18 years of age. Your access to and use of the Chicken Republic Website or Products is subject (unless expressly stated otherwise) exclusively to these terms and conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. By using the Website, you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately.

1.2 If any Participant is entering into these terms and conditions on behalf of his/her employer or acting as an employee, the Participant warrant that he or she is authorised to enter into legally binding contracts on behalf of the said employer. The Participant further warrant that his/her employer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.3 By participating in this Offer, each of the Participants, agrees, confirms and declares that he/she has read the Specific Regulations and these General Terms and Conditions (collectively the “Terms and Conditions”) and that he/she undertakes all of their provisions, and even if he/she has not read the Terms and Conditions, he/she agrees that the Terms and Conditions shall apply to him/her and shall be binding unto him/her for any matter and purpose. Accordingly, participation in this Offer is the Participant’s exclusive responsibility. The Participant agrees that Relevant Organizers shall not be liable for injury, loss, claims or damage of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with participating in the Offer and/or from the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize awarded. Each participant agrees to waive and release the Company and/or Relevant Organizers from the above-mentioned claims and liabilities. This includes, without limitation and to the extent permitted by applicable laws, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

1.4 The Company reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at its absolute discretion and without prior notice due to unusual, unforeseeable events beyond the Company’s reasonable control, including, but not limited to, any actual, anticipated, or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation. If any part of the Terms and Conditions are held to be unenforceable or illegal, such illegal or unenforceable part shall be severed from the Terms and Conditions without affecting the validity of the remaining Terms and Conditions. In any event of contradiction and/or any discrepancy between the provisions of the Terms and Conditions and any other publications regarding the Offer, excluding an announcement from the Company regarding changes to the Offer, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail for all matters and purposes.

2. Intellectual property and acceptable use of Content

2.1 All Content included on the Website is the property of Chicken Republic, our affiliates, licensees or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the Website, the Participant acknowledge that such Content is protected by copyright, trademarks, database rights and other intellectual property rights. Nothing on this site shall be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark, logo or service mark displayed on the site without the owner’s prior written permission.

2.2 Subject to clause 4 Company hereby grants to the Participant a non-exclusive worldwide access for the duration of the Chicken Republic BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer and at all times only for the Participants’own information purposes and for the avoidance of doubt, for the BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer purposes.

2.3 Notwithstanding any other rights or remedies available to it, Company shall have the right to block a Participant from the Website in the event of any breach by such Participant of any of the terms and conditions of this licence. Without prejudice to any rights granted herein, Company reserves the right to amend, edit or abbreviate or take down any Content at our discretion.

3. Prohibited use of the Site by Participants

3.1 Participants are expressly forbidden to use the Ordercr.com site in any way which is harmful, unlawful, illegal, abusive, harassing, misleading, inaccurate, threatening or otherwise objectionable or in breach of any applicable law, regulation or governmental order.

4. Availability of the Website and Disclaimers

4.1 The Website and products are provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis. gives no warranty that the Website or Services will be free of defects and/or faults. To the maximum extent permitted by the law, the Company provides no warranties (expressed or implied) of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, compatibility and satisfactory quality. Company is under no obligation to update information on the Website.

4.2 Whilst the Company uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Website is secure and free of errors, viruses and other malware, the Company give no warranty or guarantee in that regard and all Participants take responsibility for their own security, that of their personal details and their computers.

4.3 The Company accepts no liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Website.

4.4 The Company reserves the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any part (or the whole of) the Website including, but not limited to, any products and/or services available. These terms and conditions shall continue to apply to any modified version of the Website unless it is expressly stated otherwise.

5.5 The Company reserves the discretionary right upon which gifts shall be awarded during the pendency of the Offer and the Company shall not be liable to perform any of its obligations under the Offer, where it is unable to do so because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control and shall not be liable to compensate the Participant in such circumstances.

5.6 In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions or the conduct, results, selection of winner and all other matters relating to the Offer, the Company’s decision shall be final and binding on the Participant and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into nor shall be challenged in any court of law.

5.7 Each of the Participants hereby agrees and confirms, that his/her participation in, submitting any content and/or winning the prize, may be covered, filmed, photographed, and broadcasted including the content created and submitted by the Participant on the media, including television, billboards, printed press, websites, social media and that by his/her very participation in this Offer, the Participant hereby expresses his/her consent and authorizes Relevant Organizers, without any compensation to the publication and/or filming of his/her name, photos and video as part of said coverage and publications, including as part of Company publications and sales Offer on any media including print, social media, television, cable, satellite channels in and outside Nigeria (where not prohibited by written law), and to the use of statements of the participants or any creative content made or submitted by the Participant as part of the Offer.

5.8 Any winning prize shall not be exchangeable, or substituted for cash or otherwise, in all cases, whether in whole or part and the Company expressly disclaims any warranties, express or implied in connection with any prizes to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws. It is a condition of entry that the winner may be required to execute a

deed of acknowledgement, release and indemnity in a form prescribed by the Company and any other document required by the Company in its sole discretion.

5.9 The Company reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or Winner or reject any entry in such manner as the Company deems fit, without giving notice or reason, and without any liability to the Participant or the Winner.

5.10 The Company reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time to terminate or cancel the Offer, in whole or in part, or modify the Offer in any way, without liability to any person.

5.11 Information provided by the Participants or that is obtained by the Relevant Organizer under the Offer may be used by the Relevant Organizers to review, develop and improve the services they offer.

5.12 The Company accepts no responsibility for any tax implication that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings.

5.13 Cost of accessing the Internet/cellular network for the purpose of the Offer is the Participant’s responsibility. Responsibility for providing a personal detail accurately fully lies with the Participant only, and the Relevant Organizers do not and shall not be responsible whatsoever for the veracity and/or accuracy and/or entry of details. Inaccurate/incomplete, late entries will be deemed invalid. Any entry that does not comply with the Terms and Conditions will be invalid.

2 Representations and warranties

(a) The Participants hereto warrant that they each have full capacity and authority under the laws of Nigeria or of any other jurisdiction that may be applicable to enter into and perform their respective obligations under this Offer.

(b) The Participants warrant that the performance of their respective obligations under this Offer shall not constitute a breach of any applicable law or any agreement that the parties may have entered into.

3 Governing Law

This Offer shall be governed and construed in all respect in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Participants & BOGOF Rice & Beans meal Offer Partners irrevocably agree that the Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute, suit, action, arbitration or proceedings which may arise out of or in connection with this agreement.
